Gostilna Kovač

Gostilna Kovač, located on the suburbs of Ljubljana, has a long tradition of hospitality. Its history and name, which translates as 'blacksmith' in English, go back to the 19th century, when it was opened in a building housing the workshop of a blacksmith.

In the past, when Ljubljana did not stretch far beyond the present city centre, Gostilna Kovač was a rural restaurant. Today, its historical rural character is combined with excellence in providing premium experiences of traditional Slovenian cuisine with a particular emphasis on fish dishes. The restaurant serves a fine selection of premium Slovenian wines.

Menu choice: Slovenian dishes, freshwater fish, seafood, grilled dishes, vegetarian dishes, seasonal dishes, desserts, homemade bread, homemade baked goods, homemade schnapps, varietal Slovenian wines.
